This week’s Shine Time starts and ends with this profound truth: Jesus has called you by name. Among literally billions of people now living on planet Earth, you are not a speck or a tiny dot. You are not lost in the masses as God looks on from a vast distance. No – God is close and He knows you up close and personal. He knows your name.

Day one’s title is “I Am Special” and (spoiler alert) you’ve gotta love those Wemmicks! Day 5 draws this week to its conclusion with the resurrected Jesus speaking Mary’s name in the garden. He knew her past, her demons, her sin – and He loved her and gently called her by name.

Because of His intimate love for you, you can ignore those gray dots and the insults of others. The only thing that truly matters is His opinion of you. And, believe me, He adores you and loves to call your name.
